Fly-tipping and graffiti

Unfortunately, people still continue to fly-tip and graffiti in areas through the UK. Residents and visitors of Great Yarmouth are encouraged to report such incident through:

Within three days of an incident being reported Great Yarmouth Services Ltd is responsible for the removal of fly-tipped material and general anti-social graffiti.

Racist or offensive graffiti or fly posting, and illegal advertising graffiti or fly posting, will be removed within twenty-four hours of notification.

All incidents are investigated to determine if an environmental crime has been committed. This is completed in conjunction with Great Yarmouth Borough Council.

The council will keep records on the removal of all fly-tipped material, including photographs of material before and after it has been removed, and where they believe that there is sufficient evidence to reasonably warrant investigation by the council, they will liaise with us.
